Jane Pahang

I'm Jane Pahang, a PT who spent years watching the same thing: treat the shoulder, knee hurts. Treat the knee, hip flares up. Early in my career, I was trained to treat each area separately.

My own back pain taught me they're connected. My focus is tracing your pain's chain reaction, mapping the exact route it took through your body, so you can address the source instead of chasing individual symptoms.

This work chose me before I fully understood it. Watching the same cycle repeat in practice, and then living it myself, is what made me go deeper. I know what it feels like when your body becomes a mystery, and I know what it feels like when it finally makes sense.

I'm neurodivergent (ADHD), which shaped how I see connections others miss and build frameworks like PATCH IT, FIX IT, BOOST IT. I live in NYC with my partner Katya, also a PT, and our senior rescue cat Solstice.

Vision

Healthcare where people are educated, not dependent. Bodies aren't broken, they're adapting.

Mission

Map individual chain reaction routes so people understand what's actually happening in their bodies and can make informed decisions about their care.

Purpose

I teach you to read your body's signals so you can maintain your own movement without constant intervention.

CREDENTIALS AND CERTIFICATIONS

I trained and practiced in the Philippines, where I earned my NY license before relocating permanently. For five years alongside clinical work, I taught as part of the Physical Therapy faculty at Cebu Doctors' University, the same school I graduated from. Before leaving, I also volunteered at Camp Lapu-Lapu Army Station Hospital's physical rehabilitation center, which gave me a different lens on what bodies actually need to recover.

Moving to NYC, I was under agency contract for five years while pursuing permanent residency. That time is also when I got serious about filling the gaps, earning certifications in personal training and strength and conditioning (NCCPT-CPT, ISSA-SCC), functional movement taping, FMT blading, and IASTM (RockTape), functional strength programming and periodization (Rehab-U), and contemporary Pilates reformer (ARM by ULO Academy).

I STAND FOR

Body literacy, meeting people at their level, education as empowerment, autonomy over dependency, and your unique chain reaction route.

I STAND AGAINST

Cookie-cutter protocols, treating symptoms separately when they're connected, creating dependency instead of teaching autonomy, and using imaging results to create fear instead of clarity.

Core belief

Your body isn't broken. Your pain isn't separate problems. Both are information, and both have a source.
