  • What is a pain chain reaction?

Your pain restricts. Your body compensates to keep you moving. Those compensations create new restrictions: possibly neck, shoulder, hip, knee, etc. I map how they're connected through your specific movement pattern.

How do I know if my pain is connected?

If you've had pain move around your body, or if treating one area made another area start hurting, that's a chain reaction. During your first session, I'll map your exact pattern and show you the connections.

Can chain reactions happen even if my initial pain doesn't hurt anymore?

Yes. Your initial restriction started the pattern, but the compensation can outlast the original pain. Your shoulder might hurt now while your back feels fine, but the shoulder is still reacting to what your back did months or years ago.

Why hasn't anyone connected these before?

In-network PT is typically constricted to 15-30 minute sessions focused on one area at a time. I spend 60 minutes mapping your full pattern because chain reactions require looking at the whole system, not isolated parts.

  • What happens in the first session?

60-minute full chain reaction mapping. I assess how your body moves, where it restricts, and trace the exact route those restrictions took through your body. You'll receive your custom PATCH IT, FIX IT, BOOST IT plan within 24 hours showing your specific pattern.

What is PATCH IT, FIX IT, BOOST IT?

My three-step methodology. PATCH IT calms the compensations (what's screaming). FIX IT addresses the source restriction (your pattern that started everything). BOOST IT trains the correct movement so compensations don't return. These overlap throughout your program because healing isn't linear.

How do I know which program is right for me?

Book a discovery call. I'll ask: What do you need your body to do? Your answer determines the program. Pattern Map = confident daily movement. Pattern Fix = training without compensations. Pattern Proof = competitive performance and elite demands.

What's the difference between the three programs?

The distinction is your activity level outside of work. Pattern Map is for professionals whose demands are daily life and general movement (8 weeks). Pattern Fix is for those who train consistently and need their body to keep up with both their career and their training (16 weeks). Pattern Proof is for those who compete, where both arenas demand peak performance (6 months). The best fit is determined after your assessment.

Do I have to do the full program or can I just do a few sessions?

Programs are structured for clinical effectiveness. Your chain reaction needs time to reorganize, stabilize, and hold under your real-life demands. Pattern Map is the minimum starting point at 8 weeks. If you're unsure where to begin, start with a discovery call and we'll figure out what makes sense for you.

  • Where are sessions located?

In-person only at 44 E 32nd St 8th Fl, New York, NY 10016. Chain reaction mapping requires hands-on assessment and real-time movement observation.

What if I need to reschedule?

Reschedule anytime with 24+ hours notice (unlimited). Less than 24 hours = last-minute cancellation fee. No-show = session forfeited. Your session time is reserved exclusively for you. I've turned away other clients to hold that spot.

    Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Payment plans are available for all programs with auto-pay required and first payment due at signing.

    How much do programs cost?

Investment details are discussed during your discovery call based on which program fits your needs.

    Can I do sessions virtually?

No. Chain reaction mapping requires hands-on assessment. Virtual check-ins are available ONLY for unavoidable circumstances like travel or illness. These are brief homework reviews, not full sessions, and don't count toward your program session total. Maximum 2 per program.

What happens after I complete a program?

You can continue with Pattern Maintenance. Full 60-minute monthly sessions to audit your movement and catch any drift before it becomes a problem. Think of it as pattern insurance.

  • Why are you out-of-network and what does that mean?

Out-of-network means I don't contract with insurance companies. I work this way to provide 60-minute personalized sessions focused on your unique pattern. In-network PT is typically constricted to 15-30 minutes treating one area at a time, which doesn't work for chain reaction mapping. You pay directly for services, and many insurance plans offer out-of-network reimbursement.

Can I get reimbursed by my insurance?

Many out-of-network plans offer reimbursement. I provide detailed receipts (superbills) you can submit to your insurance. Reimbursement rates vary by plan. Check with your insurance about out-of-network PT benefits.

Is this worth it if I'm paying out-of-pocket?

That depends on what you need your body to do. If you've been treating multiple areas separately without results, understanding your chain reaction pattern can prevent you from spending years chasing symptoms. Discovery call is free. Let's talk about whether this approach makes sense for you.

  • What are your credentials?

Physical Therapist (licensed in NY), Certified Personal Trainer (NCCPT), ISSA-certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. Certifications in RockTape, Rehab-U, Contemporary Pilates Reformer. 12+ years clinical experience. Back pain chain reaction survivor.

Why did you start focusing on chain reactions?

I lived it. College deadlift injury created compensations throughout my body for years. In 2024, severe flare-up finally taught me what textbooks couldn't: how terrifying it is when no one connects the dots. Now I map these patterns for others.

Do you work with [specific sport/condition]?

I work with the chain reaction pattern, not the activity label. Whether you climb, run, lift, or sit at a desk, I'm mapping how your back created your specific compensation route. The methodology stays the same. The application is individualized.

What if I've already tried PT and it didn't work?

If you treated each area separately without addressing the source pattern, that's expected. We'll map your full chain reaction so you understand why previous treatment didn't hold and what needs to happen instead.

  • What's the first step?

Take the quiz to see if we're a match. If you're a good fit, book a discovery call (15-20 minutes). We'll discuss what you need your body to do, determine which program fits, and answer any remaining questions. If it's a good match, we'll schedule your first session.

What should I bring to my first session?

Wear comfortable movement clothes (shorts/tank preferred so I can see how your body moves). Bring any recent imaging reports (X-rays, MRIs) if you have them. Not required, but helpful context.

How long until I see results?

Most people notice reduced pain within 2-3 sessions as we PATCH IT (calm compensations). Full pattern reorganization takes the program duration: 8 weeks minimum for Pattern Map, 16 weeks for Pattern Fix, 6 months for Pattern Proof.
